Return to Pamplona
Today I return to Pamplona on foot. Mostly a long bike bath with some elevations , my spirit renewed I would take on the challenge of 13 miles. Mostly wooded with some road my feet where sure to be hurting. Taped and ready I set out. I met a women from Portland Oregon that had moved to Maine, some Germans and aa woman from hungry. Upon entering into the city I met two eager pizzaria guys who wanted to be on my GoPro and sell me a Grande water. (1.5L)
I walked the streets of busy Pamplona past the municiple pool (so nice but not today), and around the cities gigantic citadel. 3 miles across the city I would find my small room for the night. The best $36 got me. A 10x10 room with a shared bathroom, no hot water and no wifi. The window had a metal gate that allowed me to peer into the court yard with only 3 inches. Outside I scored some TacoBell, marveled that they served coke and not Pepsi and had fries. I stopped at a fruit shop and got 2 oranges and 2 peaches. Thos would serve as my dinner tonight and breakfast tomorrow. Lights out. Leaving the city tomorrow. I will visit the University of Navarre an accredited Jacobean University who could stamp my credential before I left. On the way out I met up with Tim from Nova Scotia who I had last seen in Orisson 3 days prior and was one of my roommates there. It was great to see him again as I shouted βTim!!!!β Across the busy intersetleading our of Pamplona.
